For those who are consumed with love and passion simple “I Love You”is usually not enough – strong feelings always induce you to make something crazy and eccentric. A London designer Ted Noten thought namely about it when he created his “wedding pills”. He offered couples with unordinary thinking to substitute wedding rings for gold pills that should be swallowed. It is very romantic: a bride and a groom want to prove their love by expressing it in something precious and by swallowing it make a part of yourself!
Namely such an idea lies in the basis of wedding pills invented by Ted Noten who is known by his unusual jewelry pieces and inventions. It seems that this invention of him is the most out of the ordinary one.
“Pills” look as real ones with the exception that they are fully covered with gold. Probably the swallowing of pills during wedding ceremony will look very unusual and many people will be shocked but it can become a very symbolic and original ritual. But you know a very logic question appears: if wedding pills symbolize eternity of a family union, won't such relationship be finished when swallowed by natural way will later come out of your organism? – this will happen for sure! Namely here everything romantic of the Noten invention looses its fairy-tale aura.
But it doesn't mean that you shouldn't accept such an unusual ritual the designer offers. It is just not worth substituting traditional wedding rings for pills. As for me I think wedding rings is the best option. Classics forever! Moreover traditional wedding rings will unite you for a much longer period of time. Of course tastes differ and you may like the idea of swallowing gold wedding pills. But to tell you the truth the continuation of the process makes me lose all romantic feelings and makes me dislike the idea.
But every couple should discuss the matter together and make the decision that will satisfy both of them.
